  Was he related to the Blay family that first housed Nkrumah in Sekondi when he returned to the Gold Coast from England to join the UGCC in 1947? One of their daughters is Reverend Amma Afo Blay, who taught Biology at Aggrey Memorial School in Cape Coast in the 1960s, and is now a retired Methodist Church Minister.
