Watch as fire guts Assemblies of God Mission House in Tarkwa

A devastating fire has destroyed the mission house of the Assemblies of God Church in Tarkwa Samahu in the Western Region.

The blaze, which broke out on May 10, 2026, and was reported on X, reduced the building to ruins amid towering flames and thick black smoke visible from a distance.

Video footage circulating on social media shows intense orange flames engulfing the roof of a light-colored building, while massive plumes of dark smoke billow into the sky.

Four burnt beyond recognition in fiery head-on collision

Some individuals were seen moving around the compound as the fire raged.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire remains unknown, as there has not yet been any official statement from the Ghana National Fire Service.
