  You are putting the cart before the horse. The markets will end up selling imported goods and the purpose will be defeated. Even if they are able to operate 24/7, which I doubt anyway. Why not rather harness/boost the product ...

  You are putting the cart before the horse. The markets will end up selling imported goods and the purpose will be defeated. Even if they are able to operate 24/7, which I doubt anyway. Why not rather harness/boost the productive capacity and economic potential of the area first. Rice cultivation, for example, is a major economic activity in the area, why not put your efforts into attracting private investments into rice-based and ancillary industries? This will create jobs and boost both the local and national economies.
