  It's about time we started acquiring and applying instincts, wisdom and foresight.
  
  People in the NPP, especially their presumed educated class, become highly offended and agitated when one calls them out for their lack of wisdom, foresight, moral compass and love for mother Ghana.
  
  The truth is that the Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia NPP majority government could have had a long lasting legacy in the area of development if they had invested wisely the monies wasted on multi-level toilet structures and the $95 million swimming pool they call cathedral.
  
  Would voters, including NDC voters, have had any reason to challenge or doubt their own eyes if the wasted monies in the 2017 through 2024 years had been spent on the conversion of electricity at all government owned buildings to solar energy? Had the Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia done so, metropolitan cities/communities in Ghana would have witnessed a government administration with no ECG electric utility bills to pay; the government could have made money from ECG by selling excess solar energy to nearby ECG electricity consumers.
  
  But thank God for the folly of an NPP government that used God's name in vain; the opportunity now becomes available for the Mahama government. The upgrade and conversion of ECG power to solar energy usage at all government owned buildings will make available excess ECG energy for use businesses just at the right time for the start of the 24-hour economy.

  Jubilee House runs on solar installed by the Akufo-Addo government. It is laudable that Parliament is following suit. But they can't claim to be blazing the trail.

  This is long over due. Even government office building starting with jubilee house should install solar panels, hospitals, ministries,police stations, army barracks , schools etc should all be on solar energy. I hope the companies in ghana producing solar panels ard very competitive and good quality as compared to those imported from china etc. Let's help our local businesses to take advantage of this move. It will benefit the country.
