What about flood victims too honourable minister of interior. Both situations are emergencies no one expected to happen. We talk about thousands of people littering the streets of the capital with plastic waste from drinks, food, pure water bags etc which ends up choking storm drains that cost money to unblock. Yet can the assemblies give us a comprehensive satistics of how many people were take to court for littering since the beginning of the 4th republic till end of april 2026. It will be interesting to see or know. There is no deterant. So no one care. We have many law abiding citizens who end up suffering severe damages to properties because of very handful of stupid selfish pigs who litter our streets. Assembles should reduce the amount of staff sitting in offices doing nothing and employ more staff to patrol neighbourhoods to enforce strict by laws on sanitation. We are failing. Come a few weeks time the illnesses that will become a health pandemic after the recent floods is looming. Sewers overflowing into pipes,boreholes, homes, houses cars, public transport etc will kick in soon. We should have an extra levy for every person who sells in the market , shops, to be used in employing street cleaners and contract decent refuse and recycling companies to collect rubbish along the streets every evening. Those who sell on the pavements should pay twice the levy. Our sanitation enforcement used to be effective in the 60s and 70s then it all fizzled out. Dead and buried. Not its all bribe, bribe, bribe.
