  Both NDC and NPP are guilty of allowing such a national asset to go waste. NDC government put up the structures. For eight years NPP government never saw the need to put it to use. For almost one and a half years that NDC has been in power, the structures are rotting. Why should our politicians be so wicked to the people who vote them to power? What wrong has Ashanti Region done that our noses are being cut to spice our faces? Can these politicians come to the people of Atwima Nwabiagya South to solicit for votes?

  This is where the health minister is expected to do everything within his powers and influences to convince the president to make the completed hospitals operational. The suspension isn't the way to go, after the suspension the problem persist. The only way to solve no bed syndrome is to opertionalise completed hospitals but not issue instructions to hospital authorities not to send patients away because there's no bed. Afari and Sawua hospitals will go a long way to reduce pressure on KATH. Cases that are admitted to A&E are such that they cannot be admitted and put on the floor like a malaria patient. Too many of patients admitted to A&E need oxygen and monitoring machines so all these and other gadgets are exhausted, how can they admit more critical cases? The minister got it wrong by the suspension of KATH CEO. I support the strike by the doctors at KATH and because he's the CEO, I wish all the workers must show solidarity for their CEO as he did nothing wrong looking at the situation at A&E. Few years that unit was opened, the place was in order comparing the number of beds and patients ratio but now the congestion is palpable.
