  All these conferences are wasteful, no effective benefits will be derived from them.
  The money being used to organise the conference could be used for other purposes.
  Teachers should only be allowed to discipline students as they were used to. Period.
  Modernity and technological advancement are the main causes.
  Educational policies and behavioral attitudes from educators are part of it. If educators stopped copying for students to pass exams and parents paying senseless monies to teachers, indiscipline will not be reduced through organisation of conferences.
  Spare the money, the time and the talk?!

  I used to work at the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in 1973. We had a section called Audio Visual, which used to screen and edit all movies coming to Ghana. Violence and extreme sexual content were removed before the films hit the movie theaters. These days we are exposed to anything. We watch films on our smartphones. In UK, they have proposed laws to restrict the youth up to 16 years from social media platforms. Ghana should do the same and more.

  Cheap politics is the major cause of indiscipline in Ghanaian school, right from the basic to the tertiary.
  Lack of parental control coupled with indiscipline in the very parents. How can the undisciplined parents instill discipline in his or her child.
  The kind of media practices giving the children uncontrollable freedom.
  The government has failed to formulate and implement workable and disciplinary policies
  Technology goes with its consequences.
  Gross abuse of Technology by the system.
  Society lacks the credibility to check and balance the system.
  Drug abuse has become the centre stage of life among the students right from the basic school
