It has happened to popular guys like you who the constituents kicked against because they didn't visit the constituency. Go there often and get their blessings. If not them you won't be in parliament and wouldn't have been finance minister too. It's like not giving attention to your children because of work and noticing that they are spoilt and wayward by the time the career is over. Spend well in the constituency roads, schools, factories etc. Who knows, you might be the last influential MP they ever would have. And when the time.comes to run for presidency, you'll need that base. Every incoming president should be at most 55 years. I don't understand why retirement is at 60 years and people above 60 are now going to campaign and attempt presidency
