The people of Awukugua should just learn to understand that the Government cannot do everything for every community. They should learn from the Kwahu and Asante people. They take the initiative to help themselves when the Government procrastinates in helping them because there is not enough money.
Awukugua is an old town with a lot of educated people. Why can't they use community service and community taxes to build their own school and expect the Government to do everything for them? HEAVEN HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES.
The people can appeal to the Churches, Mosques, and Philanthropic organizations for assistance.
The people can also appeal to the various Political Parties for assistance. My Guan people, you are going to lose if you don't help yourselves.

Growing up at the Kwabere Sekyere District and Paramount area, my Elementary School did not have a urinal and toilet place for the school.y father who was the Headteacher of the school then worked with the Chief of the town and the members of the Town Planning Committee and the support of the Churches and the Mosques organized Community Service and such places were provided for the students. Hitherto, the Pupils just went to the nearby bushes to do it there. There was the risk of venomous Snake bites. In the end, it was the school that benefited from such provisions.
When I taught at the Ghana Secondary School in Tamale, the school had no good drinking water. We drank with the Goats, Sheep and Cattle from a very dirty standing pond. Many students were infested with the Guinea Worm disease. The Headmaster who was Mr. Kudiagbor organized the Teachers to use the Community and Students labor to dig three Wells for the School and the school could get a good drinking water. The Guinea Worm infection immediately reduced dramatically. So, if the Government is not able to help, let the community come together and help itself. In the end, it is the Community that stands to benefit.

The same strategy is applied by credit cards companies. 0% fees, knowing very wll that this is to entice customers and beef up profits elsewhere to offset the loss of revenue from the fees' charges.

Efo Julor Rawlings wrongly abandoned and neglected Koforidua, Kibi, Akropong and the Kwahu areas when it came to developmental projects because they were anti Rawlings' Governments. The people were anti Rawlings' Governments and justifiably so because of how Akrasi Sarpong used NKWANTABISA who is from the North to brutalized them. NKWANTABISA was so callous that he stripped even married women in Public at the Jackson's Park to their underwear and gave them lashes at their bare backs and under their feet. How do you expect people treated that way to like and vote for you and your Government? Some useless ones will support such a Government. Gen. Akuffo, Africa, and Acheampong were given nasty trials at the useless Public Tribunals that Rawlings with the help of Gaddafi established to torment the Akans from those places. There is no way that people like me from those areas will like Efo Julor John Rawlings and his Governments even if he provided us with Manna to eat.
