Children in Asibirim receive footwear support

Hope Renewal Center (HORECE), a non-governmental organization committed to improving the welfare of children and other vulnerable groups, has donated 200 pairs of sandals to pupils of Asibirim DA Basic School in the Eastern Region as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and child welfare.

The donation was presented by Ms. Helena Asamoah on behalf of Maame Afua Akoto, Founder of Hope Renewal Center (HORECE). The initiative aimed to provide footwear for children who sometimes had to walk to school barefoot.

The Headmaster, Enoch Arthur, staff, and pupils expressed their gratitude to HORECE for the kind gesture. On behalf of the children, Fiduas Mohammed, a KG 2 pupil, thanked the donors and showered them with praises and blessings.

Maame Afua Akoto and the entire directorate of HORECE expressed the hope that the initiative would encourage other organizations to recognize that there are children who need support in diverse ways, whether big or small, to enable them to reach their full potential.
