I know that the Western Region of Ghana produces and contributed a lot to the whole of Ghana but has not been very much rewarded since the time of Nkrumah who comes from the region. It is not developed and to a very large extent neglected. Politicians swarm there with promises but are neglected just after Presidential and Parliamentarian elections. Yet we see some irresponsible and ignorant people from the area following Politicians stupidly and sheepishly. The people of that area should go and see what Akuffo Addo did for his hometown (which is not Kibi but a small town which is about 4 miles from Kibi. When he became the President, he linked his village to the National Grid for Electricity. Yes and the Feeder Road that linked his village to Kibi has been tarred. Nkrumah even neglected the Western Region and his hometown. That was bad and unfortunate. Very ungrateful of him.
I wish the Western Region can have its fair share of the National Cake.
