Too many Ghanaian Christians practice LAZY CHRISTIANITY. Instead of learning the discipline of daily personal prayer and Bible study they run to so- called prophets, apostles and other " men- of-God" at the first sign of trouble or difficulty. They don't understand that the whole gospel of Christ is centred on the fact that once a person turns away from their wrong ways and confess Christ and start living in obedience to His teachings they have direct access to the God of Heaven through their prayers and worship and do not need a human intercessor intermediary. Worshiping with other believers is very important but can never replace or take priority over a daily time of personal devotion (PRAYER AND BIBLE STUDY) at the start of each day. Those who humbly submit to the discipline of a regular time of devotion (some call it their "quiet time") will grow steadily in spiritual maturity and start each day with the full and confident knowledge that their Heavenly father will be watching over them as they strive to obey Him in all things even when they face challenges.
