  I always blame the security operatives in our system. It is clear, our national or Regional security operatives are not up to the task because, they are not really committed in doing what they have been employed to do. The security operatives should have a mechanism developed by themselves in effective intelligence gathering in every corner of the country. Times have changed and security operatives should not expect informants to come to them. They MUST cultivate their own informants. It's sad to note that, many things happen in the backyard of the Police and they have no clue about them. It's because they are not on top of issues and they waste most of their time checking vehicle papers on the roads because that is where the money would come from.

Don't rely on the government, they are too busy lining their pockets with moneys. Just see the truth about the Jungle Gold documentary and ask who authorized the Chinese to degrade our waters and lands, farms like that? Yet the NDC says see no wrong, hear no wrong, speak no evil. Is this the Rawlings' party? If Rawlings will not speak, he should remember Afrifa had long left Ghana politics when the soldiers went out and pulled him out to face firing squad. Rawlings its your party and you must speak out.

  Who gave out the land to this illegal miners, Is it not the chiefs, the assembly men, elders in the community ? the solution must come from them. Without their support the security forces will not succeed.

  Very funny. The Police are the ones taking bribes from illegal miners. Politicians, EPA, mining commission and chamber of mines bought and paid for.
