  The way the ghana teachers know to discipline children in schools is by using a cane to cause injury and Ms Sakina should speak against that not encourage. What has the use of cane as a form of punishment done to us other than cause fear and injury in students. Ghana should look into using other forms like time out, removing privileges and other psychotherapy to teach and let the cane be a last resort to be used.

  "Discipline" does not include the use of the cane, that must be abolished. It requires skillful teaching and that demands "money" This means the school labs must be modernized and well equipped. Students and their parents must not suffer financially because children must be well fed and catered for, their health needs must be met accordingly because "a sound mind is found in a sound body. Ghana is going nowhere so long as we continue to do the same thing over and over again and again, we will continue to get the same results because CORRUPTION continues unabated. The people to tackle CORRUPTION are themselves "dirty" and are scared to open the discussion on how to stop it.

  If canes make one brilliant and discipline,then all Ghanaians will be Pastors,lawyers and doctors.Canes must be totally eliminated from school.

  My job is to teach,will u give me discipline allowance? I care less until u realize ma efforts as a teacher is worth it. Increase ma pay and that's it
