CAN WE ALL GET ALONG?...this issue has gone on for too long...Some of the guys involved are well educated university graduates...they should go out and get real jobs than to feed off on land sales and royalties...There is a lot of unemployment in Winneba as there are no businesses...this chieftaincy issue has chased businesses away...the time has come to think about the development of town than think of the benefits of the individuals.........IT IS NOT A VICTORY FOR ANYONE IF WINNEBA CONTINUES TO SUFFER

I am a Ghanaian but not from Winneba. However, let me say that Ghanaians are sick and tired of this ancient and paleolithic Winneba chieftaincy issue. Winneba is a very noble traditional area in Ghana with the one of the best tourist attractions, the Aboakyer Festival, but every year there are fear and panic, and sense of insecurity among people including tourists from near and afar when the festival is due. WHY? WHY?? WHY??? Winneba, please let this ruling be the last to settle the issue. All the Neenyis, the Ebusuas, the Asafos, the Obaatans, the Gharteys, the Ayirebi-Acquahs, the Ghunneys, and all the learned Winnebanians (Efutus) must reason and let peace prevail once and for all. There is a great potential of massive investments in the offing for the Efutu area if peace prevails. Accra and Kasoa areas are choked and Winneba, for that matter the Efutu area, can be one of the best investment hubs in Ghana.

Winneba is located between the oil field and Accra....with lots of naturally scenic land...great location new govt offices and businesses due to its proximity to Accra.........but these selfish , short-sighted idiots are preventing it from realizing its potential...Winneba junction look worse than it was in the 1970's.....The coastline (Armed Forces Beach), where the Easter Monday festivities took place in the 70s...are all worse off.. We had european tourists filing those beaches in the 60s and 70s...It is all gone done the tube.. Though there are newer houses in the low cost area..there is no planning so the town looks like an oversize village...This is what the educated returnees are supposed to use what they learned in USA and Europe to help Winneba develop and attract investment.. Only losers fight to be Chiefs..GET DAY JOBS OR GO BACK TO OVERSEA AND LET PEACE PREVAL...TRUE GHANA IS TIRED OF YOU...GHANA GOVET SHOULD NATIONALIZE ALL THE LANDS IN WINNEBA TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM....IF THE GOVT TAKE THE LAND AWAY..EVERYONE WILL GO LOOK FOR JOB
