This can never be true. Was a survey conducted to come out with this figure of 70%. this is totally an unscientific claim by the regional minister. What it then means is that out of 10 teachers, 7 are alcoholics. i strongly disagree with the regional minister's claim and ask him to apologize to the hard working teachers of the region. Go to a particular school like Big Boss or any of the schools in Bolga, Bawku or any other school and find out if 70& of the teachers in those schools are alcoholics. I wish I were in the Upper East to debunk this insulting claim by the regional minister. I call on GNAT and NAGRAT to call the regional minister to order and to produce any research findings and hence stop him from making such unguarded statements
