  Society must wake up to this evil which we are bringing on ourselves.
  
  Do the mothers of these abandoned babies not have parents and families? Were they not aware of the pregnancies? Why did they not find out about the whereabouts of these babies when the mothers delivered?
  
  Wherein lies parental and social responsibility?
  
  We call upon the whole society to act to prevent such occurrences.
