The so called 25% reduction of the tariff is slowly coming back to hit Ghanaians. This crooked NDC government has crookishly beaten the so called organized labour (TUC) to it. The 25% reduction is nicodemously coming back to hit Ghanaians. The start of it is the 2.5% increase in VAT. Expect to see the remaining 22,5% and worst things in 2014 budget. WATCH OUT.

Ghana is 57 years old (after independence) and all our major roads are single lanes, and our politicians are still stealing the nation's money. They don't care how many people die on the roads each day. Wayomi alone has 5i1million,some companies waterville, isofoton, etc etc have been able to dupe Ghana millions. All our politicians have pledged to be millionaires in dollars before they quit politics while we can't boast of a singe double major road in the country. I know there is a saying that, says, "safety first " but not in Ghana. t I have never heard safety or double roads discussed in our parliament. All they are talking about is Airports. Universities,etc etc whiles the people they are constructing these airports for lack basic amenities like electricity, portable water, good roads linking them to other parts of the country. How many Ghanaians can afford to fly on planes when traveling within the country? why don't we build good double roads and railways first before the prestige projects?: airports in every region? It is all about priorities first and it takes brains, brains, brains, to know.

In these countries, the governments have created jobs for the people. Many in Singapore and in USA are are salary workers or earners and can afford taxes. How about Ghana where very few are salary workers? Look at the number of unemployed in our country, and look again at our peasant farmers who live in our villages and see income once in a year. Would you be sound to tax these people as those in the USA are taxed? Over to you Mr. Minister FIIFI KWARTEY.

Is it sheer stupidity,lack of common sense or what that people ruling this country and making decisions for us have failed to realise that in this day and age,construction of dual carriage ways is the only way of reducing or controlling accidents,deaths and injuries.
Are our so-called politicians or authorities that stupid not to pay attention to our death trap roads which are always claiming lives of both young and old instead of raining insults on anybody who dare raises any issue of importance?
As i write this,work on the construction of the Sofo line project in Kumasi has been suspended,Why? And please nobody should tell me it can't be funded for money is being wasted on unnecessary things like flying politicians abroad for medical check ups and other non beneficial things to the nation.
Do these people have brains to think in order for them to do anything good?
Why should such a project of importance be suspended or stopped?
Travel around the whole country and one can not find one single safe road.How many unnecessary deaths on our roads have to occur before this all important problems are resolved?What country are we living in?
