  this what we want. it will fish out all illegal immigrants from the system. Ghanaian ID documents should have been highly respected but due to corruption which allows immigrants, especially some notorious Nigerians, into the country, get our passport and use it abroad, our ID cards, including passport, cannot even be compare with train or bus tickets abroad. NIA should quickly welcome this suggestion.

  am very happy for this system and it will reduce crime and corruption in a sense that if all foreigners who are living in Ghana are data based so every police station must be equiped it computer so if you do a crime and you are reported a warrant will be placed on your name and even if you go to hospital ur identity needs clearance from the national register and if there is a warrant is placed on your name you will be picked up by security personnel and face the full flair of the law simple. this will let everyone to behave well even at the bank you need a clearance the system will check rime by it self.....

  I HAVE SAID TIME AND AGAIN THAT GHANA NEEDS A CENTRAL NATIONAL REGISTER OF ALL ITS CITIZENS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD FOR THE PURPOSES OF IDENTIFICATION, FIGHTING CRIME AND EVEN FOR DEVELOPMENT PLANNING.TO MAKE IT WORK A LAW MUST BE PASSED MAKING IT MANDATORY FOR ALL TO REGISTER. THE POLICE MUST ALSO HAVE A REGISTER FOR ALL THOSE CONVICTED OF CRIME- A CRIMINAL RECORD BUREAU TO HELP FISH OUT CRIMINALS.
