Spending huge sums of money on non productive subjects must take a back seat in our contemporary assessment over our needs. Machine shops build a nation and any attempt to downplay it in terms of governmental allocation will be damaging to our future. We need learning that will reflect upon contemporary societal needs and I admire Prof Date Baah's courage for nurturing that dialogue. The problem is : who is listening ?
