  It's amazing that some of the previous employee are dead yet their families still want to live in the building. Are they paying rent for this place or they are just free loaders? If they are not paying rent, the property owner has the right to throw them out. We need to hold people responsible and stop letting them live for free and act like everyone else owes them something.
