In fact the teachers in the school should bow their heads in shame. They are irresponsible. For them to look on and say they donot have money to build a new toilet facilty for the scool is trully a sign of irresponsible behaviour on their part. The headmistres is a disgrace to herself, her husband and her entire family. The school has a PTA and have been collecting moneys from parents every term. what do they use the money for. They are always interest in conducting extra classes and collecting money for their puckets but something for their own welfare and the welfare of the student they can manage then, they should all bow their heads in shame.

Some think he might be an Ashanti forgetting Ashanti is not like trokosiland where people who are not from that land are not welcome because of their secrecy in doing things.I can tell you that, all these regional ministerial musical chairs is because of Afotey Agbo the past minister of Volta region the hell that he was going through with some arrogant assemblymen who think the region is for them and nobody can dictate to them.Ashanti is not like that Ashanti welcomes everyone irrespective of where you come from to the extent that they have people of the northern and zongo descent who are MPS and DCES.How many of that are in the volta region but people who are from the volta region and comment here are the first to jump to conderm Ashanti for no reason but hate.Your hate for Ashanti will not help you to surpass them in any way, an uneducated Ashanti knows how to fend for himself or herself to survive even in ndc hate for them.If the benefit that Ghana gets from Ashanti were to be from trokosiland , I don't know where Ghana would have been and I don't even think they would have chosen to be part of it.That is the type of people ghana is dealing with.

The worse of it is that the ministry of education might not be doing effective monitoring verification evaluation and quality control or assurance, else this incident will not occur. In the olden days we had SELF-HELP PROJECTS or CIVIC RESPONSIBILTY, that is asking the chief and elders help TO BRING the community together to construct a new KVIP. Everybody sits there and ask the government for everything and blame the government for everything but NOBODY IS WILLING TO TAKE ANY INITIATIVE TO DO ANYTHING ON THEIR OWN!!!!! The Portuguese wondered about our standard of hygiene, only that its all systematically been "silenced" in the white man's history books - you can refer to the writings of Ibn -Battuta, the genial African historian on this subject. We just have misplaced priorities and that is the result- I'm definitely sure that some of the executive of this school, including the teachers are riding around in SUVs whiles visiting such a dilapidated and unhygienic abort.

Just listen to this guy called NAKED and you will notice immediately he sums it all about what most Ghanaians think of Ashantis today. In today's Ghana you can see the Kwahu's developing their tiny villages into big towns, the Akyems, Bonos and even the Sewhi's who used to ignore their villages doing the same. The Ewes and the Northerners keep looting all the wealth that the nation has amassed together while the Nzimas, the Ga and the Fantis keep chasing them to get the remnants of their loots. The Ashantis however, have been forced to move to Accra by the devil JJ Rawlings who made sure the Kumasi Market, the backbone of the Ashantis was reduced to nothing during the 80's. After the market's revival in the middle of the 90's a large number of stalls are now taken over by the Northerners and other non-Ashantis. Meanwhile the Ashantis continue building mansions and buying big businesses in Accra, feeding the Ga people with food and jobs while their villages begin to rot in their absence. Any calls for Ashantis to invest in Ashanti land is now a taboo to many Ghanaians. We have a King who does not care about anything else beside jumping into his palanquin to celebrate in ceremonies like funerals and cultural anniversaries, as well as engage in controversial politics. Kumasi is now as chaotic as hell. The city is dusty, full of traffic, people selling everywhere, shacks all over the place, garbage everywhere, crooked streets in the new suburbs and unpainted buildings all over in the old suburbs. Yet most Ashantis continue to claim that their city is the best. They are oblivious to what is happening around them. Visitors who enter the city begin to question why it's called the Garden City because there is not a single garden in Kumasi today, all the beautiful parks with their beautiful flowers are gone.In todays Ashanti, most villages have their water resources destroyed by galamsey operators from outside as well as government contracted gold diggers, some from as far away as China. The government of Ewes and Northerners in Ghana keep encouraging Ashantis to continue with cocoa farming and other forms of agriculture to feed Ghanaians while they loot the coffers to educate their children. After all this, their propaganda machinists are all over the media bombarding Ashantis calling them all sorts of names. Ashantis in Ghana are now subjected to all sorts of insults on our own land, they are blamed for all the woes in Ghana after all the sacrifices. I once again call on all Ashantis to stop running away to Accra, invest in our newly developing towns and villages instead of the overpopulated Kumasi and Accra, begin to build infractures like running water taps, toilets facilities, schools and even roads by ourselves just like our predecessors did. Ashantis must wake up to develop their areas before it's too late, they can never see any proper development from the government of Ghana, most especially with Ewes and their accomplices on the agenda to destroy Ashantis.

Apart from the tribal insinuations, everything said here is true. There exist a cache of people and tribes bent on stealing from Ghana's coffers. It is sad but very, very true when you consider the wick people who force themselves into politics just to steal; and this endemic in the NDC and especially from the north (sorry but true; there have been some young bad looting politicians from the north, who really do not think and care about their people and the cancer, which probably started from trying emulate the rich Asante culture out of the then cocoa industry has gone out of hand). Stealing is done by people of all tribes but if you are going to be in government, the rule changes, you become the custodian of the common wealth and development of the nation and not to loot it, this how the west and other nations develop.

These toilets and associated teachers housing were built under a huge national budget and development scheme under Rawlings, which also a big stealing venture on Ghanaians, my own sister got a contractor to build two houses for SHS teachers which was nothing but pouring soil and water (mud) to get paid.

At the end of the day, Ghana may need NPP to develop.

What a nation? Nine hundred students can contibute one cedi every week or even every month and start something and ask the authority to come to their aids. We want everything free by the government when can we ever learn to do anything for ourselves? My father used to lead the village to repair old desks and chairs as well as re-roofing the school buildings when I was young.Gongon is beatten once a week for women and children to come out and collect sand from the gutters around for men to mould blocks for use for the community. Where have all these gone to.How can we help others if we cannot help ourselves.

Please stop buying these expensive cars for the ministers and rather use that money to build modern and portable toilets water etc. for the general population to benefit.Don't politics too attractive for people to fight over it,but rather make it a sacrificial job to serve the nation not to enrich yourselves.

Look at the Tema Motorway and tell mahama to do same to Ghana development.
Politicians should do things that last for a long time like the freeway.
If lawyers and doctors are abandoning courts and hospitals for politics, teachers should enter into politics to teach the adults in politiking. Period
