King Midas was a foolish and greedy man. He wanted to be the richest ... King Midas wished that everything he touched would turn to gold. Then he would be the richest man in the world.

The god kept his promise and sure enough, everything Midas touched turned to gold. He went round his palace using his new power.

But Midas' wish turned against him. He found that he couldn't eat or drink as all his food and wine turned to gold when he touched it!

The King soon felt hungry and went down to eat his breakfast. Now a strange thing happened. When he raised a glass of clear cold water to drink, it became solid gold.

Not a drop of water could pass his lips.

The bread turned to gold under his fingers.

The meat was hard, and yellow, and shiny.

Not a thing could he get to eat.

All was gold, gold, gold.

His little daughter came running in from the garden.

Of all living creatures she was the dearest to him.

He touched her with his lips.

At once the little girl was changed to a golden statue.

A great fear crept into the King's heart, sweeping all the joy out of his life.

In his grief he called and called upon the fairy who had given him the gift of the golden touch.

President Kufuor's former bodyguard jailed 10 years for stealing vodafone cables

Enoch Lamptey, the Chief Inspector who assisted nine others to steal underground cables worth Ghc 700,000.00 belonging to Vodafone Ghana Limited, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for abetment of crime by an Accra Circuit Court, while six of the suspects were freed.

Francis Obiri, the trial judge who sentenced him last Monday with three others: Kwadwo Gyapong, alias Joe, a scrap dealer; Abubakar Alhassan Damba a Kia truck driver and Abass Abubakar Enoch, a scrap dealer, said the policeman should not have tried to stop his s colleagues from going ahead to arrest the suspect.

Chief Inspector Enoch Lamptey, who was said to have, at a point, been the bodyguard of former President John Agyekum - Kufuor, made the judge wonder the sort of protection he offered the former President.

People were suffering during k4 ear and still suffering in Mahama's era.The good thing is Ghanaians are God fearing people despite all the problems we are going through. Wait and oneday someone will wake up and teach you a lesson. If a party like NPP are firghting (Akyims v Ashantis) the latter thinking they are the most powerful people in Ghana.
