With the residential communities forming their own companies. Polluter-Must-Principle will apply in all the communities. The more garbage you produce the more money you pay. All the monies collected go to the designated residential PMP companies.

The third R is to Reuse meaning to use something again instead of throwing it away to buy a new one.
Practicing the 3R's will help us reduce the amount of waste we throw away everyday.

Then Brother Dr. Oko, don't you think that it is better for you to come back to the U.S to continue your teaching work. Perhaps teaching is your God's given gift rather than being an Administrator/Mayor of a city.

We must achieve environmental sustainability. Small scale miners must be educated on land reclamation and reafforestation of degraded lands.

I think the time has come as a matter of urgency to start recruiting smart JSS students to take over the running of this country. I sincerely believe that these students will perform far better than what we are seeing. At least they are not corrupt, very sincere, patriotic and will think better than this group of 'do nothing' gov't!

Growing up, Ghanaians have been able to handle the waste generated domestically. Now we claim we are in a technological era and cannot manage the waste generated technologically. Waste companies have to depend on government to provide a dump site in addition to paying them. Why can't gov't own its own trucks and employ its own drivers so you don't have to pay anybody for doing nothing. The last time I was in GH, I asked "for what are the waste contractors being paid?" The waste they collect and are suppose to take to the dump sites are spilled all over the streets. The compost the Compost company churns out are too expensive so farmers prefer to use chemical fertilizers. Gov't subsidizes chemical fertilizers so why not manure/compost. Are we a serious species at all?
