1. should have a post graduate degree in management, education, or their equivalent
2. should be a practicing christian, being a methodist shall be an advantage
3. All other faiths (Islam, Buddhist, atheist, hindu, etc)should not bother to apply unless ready to convert to christianity within 3 months after appointment
The Ghana education Service and the methodist education unit in line with the provisions of the 1992 constitution and church doctrine respectively are equal opportunity oriented organizations and do not discriminate against any Ghanaian.
We the two organizations also want the ghanaian public to know the pioneering role we have played in the respect of fundamental human rights in Ghana

In fact being blind herself, she would empathise with her students and appreciate their problems more than others.
The Methodist Church should allow her appointment but seek assurances that a Christian ethos would be maintained in the school. This can be achieved through the school governorship and the chaplain of the school. Also Christian deputies can be appointed to help the head.
