Two young nuns are ordered to paint a room in the convent, and the last instruction of the Mother Superior is that they must not get even one single drop of paint on their habits. After discussing it, the two nuns decide to lock the door of the room, strip off their habits, and paint naked. In the middle of the project, there comes a knock at the door. "Who is it?" calls one of the nuns.

"Blind man," replies a voice from the other side of the door.

The two nuns look at each other, shrug, and, deciding that no harm can come from letting a blind man into the room, they open the door.

"Nice boobs,nice ass" says the man. "Where do you want the blinds?"

Just imagine the excuse this Diocesan Administrator of the Methodist Church has offered for his inaction. Would it not have been the proper thing to do,for this Pastor to have promised to look into the matter, and then see how best to resolve it?
So let the Senior Clergy of the Methodist Church,show the same amount of interest in the sad case as they always do in partisan political matters!

Apart from the fact that she might not be able to see, her other faculties are working well. More importantly this woman is apparently well qualified and has the competence to lead the institution.

In fact being blind herself, she would empathise with her students and appreciate their problems more than others.

The Methodist Church should allow her appointment but seek assurances that a Christian ethos would be maintained in the school. This can be achieved through the school governorship and the chaplain of the school. Also Christian deputies can be appointed to help the head.

This simple statement would have pre-emptied all the ensuing controversies.
