How many teachers are there in Ghana? How many endorse the sanitary pad project? What sample size are you basing your corrupt report on? Ghanaian school children and parents need better than sanitary pads.Sort out prohibitive school fees, rotten dining halls and dormitories, teaching aids, textbooks, research and development, libraries, IT centers, staff accommodation, school toilets, water before thinking about school girls kuku!

Anything that goes to the developement of the HUMAN BEING IS THE BEST DECISION ANY GOOD GOVERNMENT COULD TAKE. HUMAN DEVELOPMENT IS NO.1 WHEN IT COMES TO SETTING PROIRITIES.
Ghanaians are making a hell OF NOISE out of something they have not experienced. Our young girls at age 8-10 even at primary schools now menstrates at that tender age. its a pity. Not to mention the Senior High school girls. They soil themselves most of the time and feels very uncomfortable. the issue is why single out the sanitary pad and make noise out of it? Do the so called MP's got girls of that age in their homes? They should ask University/Polytechnic girls if they would not appreciate the gesture if it is extended to them? I feel it should be extended to primary schools because of the early menstration girls are going through. I had an encounter with a class 5 pupil (girl) who asked for a lift on my way to work. this girl had been asked by her class teacher to go home because she had soiled herself with blood. The poor girl was menstrating at age 10 and resides along the villages on your way to Gyakiti from Akosombo. I offered her the lift but on reaching my junction the girl could not get down smartly as expected. That drew my attention to look again at her only to realised that she had stained her dress. I was compelled to drive her to her village before returning to work. I would recommend rather that the sanitary pad and panty liner are produced locally because it is very expensive to buy. I support the decision to assist the poor and needed girls with sanitary pads among other items. Men should not talk about this because is even a shame for MALE MP'S TO MENTION SANITARY PAD IN PARLIAMENT.
