Animal sacrifice is very historical and has for long, become the religious and cultural practices for many societies, yet it is a sin and abomination before God(the Covenant God of Israel).

Infact, such practices are unto demons, and NOT to God (1st Corinthians 10 verse 20).

Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb, an um blemish sacrifice that God himself offered, on behalf of the entire human race, to atone for sin.
When we sacrifice, we are in essence telling God that we do not respect the sacrifice that God did on our behalf through Christ Jesus.

Hence, repentance and forgiveness of sin is and should be preached in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading on his blood to wash us from all unrighteousness, shame and guilt.

And this is our confidence that God forgives and receives us, when we recognize our shame and guilt and ask for forgiveness.

Animal sacrifices have been of old, as far back to the times of the Patriarchs, including Abraham. Human sacrifices, even were part of of Aztecs and other societies, something that God condemned to the letter.

The test of Faith on the part of the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, qualified him to be the Father of all nations, according to the promise God gave to Abraham, saying by means of you the whole world would be blessed, God also told Abraham that, it was and is through Isaac that his name(Abraham) would be remembered among the nations, in all generations.

When God covenanted with Israel(Jacob), HE gave them specific instructions(when they were in the wilderness prior to the promised land) regarding the practice concerning sacrifices, to distinguish it from what the nations were also engaged in(sacrificing to their gods).

It is important to note that the enemy, Satan, counterfeits everything that God does, hence it is important to test all things by the spirit and the knowledge of the WORD of God.

When Israel congregated as a nation, and the temple was eventually built, specific instructions were given regarding the sacrifices, and it was to be carried out by the High Priest on his own behalf and on behalf of the nation. It is important to note that God was actually preparing the minds of the Jews concerning the sacrifice of his lamb(Jesus Christ) which would cause the traditional sacrifices among the Jews to cease. The Prophet Daniel(800 BC) spoke of this vividly, pointing to the exact date that Christ was to be crucified after his Ministry.

Thus, the Jewish animal sacrifices , among other things, were shadows of the reality. The reality is Jesus Christ(See the book of HEBREWS).
That was why when Christ died on the cross, immediately, the curtain dividing the HOLIES from the HOLIES OF HOLIES divided into two from top to bottom, signifying that God, through Christ, has opened a door of opportunity for all humanity to come to HIM or be reconciled with HIM, and serve HIM with a clean conscience, knowing very well that we have come to God, according to the way or manner HE has instructed us to.

So, anytime anywhere that Animal sacrifices are practiced, you are to note that it is not in the dictates of God, it is people doing their own things in ignorance, no matter even if they use the Bible in their services. They may make reference to the OT. You are to equip yourself with the knowledge that the OT was pointing to Christ, so knowledge is the key.

God so loved the world that HE gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in HIM(Christ) should not perish but have Everlasting Life.

The door to Salvation is still open. It in through Christ Jesus, the Son of God. Christ is the one who justifies us before the Father. We cannot indulge in sinful practices perpetually on the account of the forgiving power of the blood, for God cannot be mocked.

It is important to stay put in the WORD, FELLOWSHIPPING, and building a consistent prayer Life pattern. Make sure you are properly Baptized(by immersion). Satan is always looking for opportunities to put us to shame, so be careful and vigilant. Avoid gossiping, a very powerful tool of the enemy for which many Christians fall prey to, be careful and guide and guard your thoughts with Rev 22 verse 15.

No gods have been upset so he should go away with his silly demands. No one in Ghana has authority to banish a citizen of Ghana from any part of Ghana unless by the court of law. This man should not be allowed to take the law into his own hand and make illegal and unlawful demands.

This is the example of near lawlessness in Ghana. Of course, what the accused did was wrong but it should be the state that should take up the matter and not some self acclaimed or appointed spiritual leader.
