Why is it not striking that the public will suffer the hazards of ill sanitation if the lady and her co-workers stop dispensing their services due to non-payment of salaries ? Why is it not striking that in exchange for services a contractual agreement between the public and Zoomlion may not be fulfilled under threatening circumstances - in this case a strike ? It is news, buddy !

Jojo is part of those looting the resources of the country for only a few of them to enjoy so no wonder he and the likes of him dont see anything wrong with people working and not being paid which Zoomlion gets paid Gh¢500 every month to manage each employee who in turn gets paid only Gh¢100. Can you imagine this?

The economy is hitting workers hard and many are finding it difficult to balance the family budget.

I don't have words to express how I feel about these Ghanaian workers who haven't been paid for 6 months period. This can only happens in Africa and it should be stopped. Very shameful.

not only in Suhum that Zoomlion workers are not paid. In Tema where my sister works, she is not paid for the past 7 months. Its really hard for these workers.

laziness, lack of creativity, and dependency syndrome is killing Ghanaians. Even in developed countries, in times of depression workers are laid off. So if there is no money lay them off.

In developed countries, they have other schemes in place to handle the situation such as retraining of the people to acquire new skills needed to enable the people get new jobs, the payment of unemployment benefits etc.

A 3 year university course will amount to £27,000- just for one child- can u imagine what these monies could do for the health/ school feeding/sanitation problems in the country.
