You cannot destool a gazetted Chief easily like during those days, By Gazetting you empower the Chief and to get them out you need the backing of the House of Chiefs.

The truth is that all these characters who are standing out as Ga Chiefs definitely not the right material to uplift the image of Gas.
Nii Adote Obuor and Nii Otintor, the two claimants of the Sempe stool, are both shameless crooks and everybody concerned knows that they are impenitent crooks. Both the protagonists as well as antagonists of these two parties are only supporting their various factions so as to benefit from the possible gains of the illegal activities of their chiefs.
The greater problem however is the Ga people themselves.
All the opportunities available in this country are found in Accra, the native origin of the Ga people. Ironically, the Ga people are the most mentally and materially deprived people in Accra by a mile.
A casual drive around the predominantly Ga areas of La, Teshie, Chorkor, Korle Gonno, James Town, Bukom, Nungua etc, can cause you an instant disbelief in God for abandoning sections of His own creation in such a dismal and deplorable state. The living conditions in some of these places defies civilized description.
Now how did it happen like this?
It happened like this because the Ga people themselves have insisted, under primitive feudalistic laws of inheritance, on appointing the most incompetent and criminal characters to manage their traditional affairs. How can anybody in his right senses appoint a land-gaurd (Nii Otintor) as a Chief in this 21st Century? How?
As a result of all these unfavorable on-goings, the Ga people have ended up being probably the most socially deprived ethnic group in the country because their Chiefs have unilaterally sold all their lands under the very feet which they stand on.
What Gas should do, if they begin to get any sense, is to first of all, get rid of all the current crop of Chiefs and then march them to the Ga Manche palace and hang each and every one of them on the nearest tree, for human rights violations of the worse kind, against the Ga people.

When will this nonesense stop so Gas can focus their attention on cleaning the filth in Accra? Don't tell me it is the job of the government/AMA.
