Pedestrians seem nonchalant about passing vehicles. Unbelievably, they walk lazily as if they are just waking up from their bed. We need a complete turnaround and a robust education of both our drivers and pedestrians.

you can't pass when you see another driver coming or curve/hill in road..They teach that in driving school to 15 year olds kids..You should be passing on dark road unless vehicle ahead is stopped!

Do you expect Mahama to enter into cars driven by senseless and irresponsible drivers and tell them not to overspeed, not to make senseless overtakings, not to overload or not get drunk when driving? Did vehicular accidents on Ghanaian roads start today? Have you read how Ghanaian commcercial drivers are resisting rules to use seatbelts? Let the rule be enforced rigorously and you will come here and blame the same Mahama again.

Boateng, if Kuffour did not do much about such accidents, does it mean Mahama should not. I remember when Nissan Urvans were causing too many accidents during Papa Jerry's time, some apertures were installed under the accelerator paddles so they could not move beyond a certain speed limit. They could not make more than 50 miles per hour.
Why people blame Mahama is that the accidents are happening in his regime. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. He should have very competent and trusted police on these "death alleys" on our roads to check overspeeding. Frequent education should be given to driver, especially new ones on the roads.
With seat belts, many of us want people use them but not in metro buses. Have you seen school buses even having seat belts? Yes something needs to be done about our roads.

Tell me Smarty and see nothing, hear nothing wrong about NPP Agyina Karikari, how you want Mahama to care and then I will urge you to relate it to him. How did Kuffuor care when he was involved in an accident at Opeibea Junction in 2008. Do you and your NPP hollow blamers expect Mahama to police lawless and foolish drivers on Ghanaian roads? When was the last time you drove in Ghana and did you see the speed limits you're talking about on the roads. You can blame Mahama all you want but remember that car accidents didn't start in Mahama's regime. Your own NPP president Kuffuor was involved in a car accident in Accra in 2008, did you blame him? You guys expose your foolishness with your childish blame games. Keep your blame game all the way to Supreme Court once more and show us your ridiculous pinksheets again, bozos.

Ghana is the only place where they experience deadly car accidents so what do you expect the president to do? Do you need to blame Mahama on Ghanaweb, instead of sending your proposal to him at the seat of government?

Boateng, I have tried to be respectful to you but you insult me of being childish and foolish. Rawlings also had an accident and in his case, the driver was beaten to death. Ministers also get accidents including one by the Eastern Regional Minister recently. Is it not a truism that the Prez is held responsible when things go wrong? Mr see nothing about NDC. If people are appointed to places because of tribal and people with sharp teeth as Jerry puts it, what do you expect? If people continue to die on our roads because MTTU is not doing its work well, and also because of bad roads, do I blame Addo, Rawlings or Kuffour. When you go to Ghana, use the Suhum Kumasi road and see how it feels like. I also wish you will comment on the rot at CHRAJ and sports ministry now. Or, Mr NDC, you see nothing wrong there but feel comfortable in being disrespectful to me? Shame on you.
