Mr Minister I would like to suggest that this years BECE placement has not improved any better. Mr. Aheto Tsegah is telling us that he is waiting for vacancies from the schools before doing the second placement. We should get computer experts or technologist to talk through such thing. 1.I guess there was clear criteria of displacement. Is it been followed. 2.If he did not know the number of opening available, how then did they start posting at all. 3. So now some bright students have been disadvantaged since based on the number of opening they might have been pushed down n Now less brighter ones will get the chance of securing placement. I hope you get my analogy. Please get into this. Assuming that 240,000 people on the average have sat for the WASSCE over the last 3 years even with the 4 year structure; courtesy WAEC website. Mathematically Vacancies now available with the 3 year structure will be 320,000.Easy. Doing this number of postings would have solved a big problem 1st time round. to confirm with last years 1st year admission list.
Do not disadvantage some of the kids who have learnt so hard to get aggregate 6 to 9. but are now crying.
