  It is happening in all the polytechnics even the poorest ones including Bolga and Wa. Council members auctioning institutional vehicles to themselves when the institutions have barely enough vehicles. I hope the journalists will pick this one up and interview all rectors.

  There are many fields where Ghana lacks the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.
  
  The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.
  
  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

STOP THIS NONSENSE WHY DON'T WE DIVIDE THE REGIONS INTO DIFFEREND COUNTRIES? I THINK THERE WILL BE NO MORE CONFUSION.

  It is possible to make a point without resorting to insults and name calling, Sir, especially when you appear not to understand what is being canvassed. You have to understand that in a federation, the component parts are not independent states as such. It is still one country, controlled by a national government which is responsible for national decisions. The component parts have control over their affairs. Relations between the central government and the components of the federation on the one hand and the relations among the component parts on the other hand are regulated by the constitution. Maybe you have good grounds for opposing a federation, but surely, concerns about who pays for port services are hardly good grounds for not adopting a federal system of government.

  THIS IS EXACTLY THE REASON WHY THE POLYTECHNICS HAVE BECOME THE LUCRATIVE GROUNDS FOR UNIVERSITY LECTURERS WHO COME TO HEAD THEM. THEY MANIPULATE THE PROCESSES TO GET TO THE RECTORSHIP POSITION TO ENRICH THEMSELVES, DIVIDE THE STAFF, AND GET AWAY WITH BAD MANAGENENT STYLE. YOU JUST CANNOT IMAGINE!
