It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

Every thing is sabotage and criminality and contempt for an elected government.
We will make sure you don't win the next election so this kind of behaviour will not be rewarded

Mr. Kwesi Pratt, could you remember that Rawlings used the TUC and its workers as a launching pad to overthrow Liman's government fraudulently? Could you also remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to saw how the size had shrunk under Liman, and we ended up with the "Rawlings Chain" during the PNDC? Could you also remember that Nkrumah used to incite workers to strike against the Whiteman and later on outlawed strikes in his regime when the economic situation was difficult for workers and said they were unpatriotic?

I don't believe NPP is behind the strikes. But if they do, I don't think they are doing that to overthrow any regime unlawfully. They may be highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that it would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. That is in fact, a genuine politics. Everybody in Ghana knows that cost of living under the NDC government is unbearable, and NPP could be seizing the opportunity to convince Ghanaians including the workers not to vote for NDC next time. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with that because NPP is trying to wrestle power from an incapable government democratically?

The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.

Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.

Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.

Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Government should set a precedence. We will make sure NPP cannot win the next election . Government should stop salaries of striking workers. The Union kneaders should be arrested and prosecuted if they don't call off the strike i breach of the labour laws

Ministers/MDAs are not doing their work properly. President Mahama Should know that his appointees are digging his grave and that of the NDC. The government should get the list of all striking workers and replace them immediately. No work no pay. Look in the street and see the number of the youth looking for work whiles employment is banned in public institutions. Mahama should watch uner his own clothes for solution. There are NPP agents within his party and it is time to wake up.
