We are under economic shackles all because of NDC incompetent and corrupt government. We had eight years of NPP government and times were certainly better for us than we have found ourselves in under the six years of GYEEDA,SUBAH,SADA,NSS and least of all Woyome stealling from us a whopping fifty one million.
The NDC and its head corruptible Mahama must give way to the NPP.
At least if I am poor but the sacrifice is giving all children in Ghana some free education then my sacrifice is worth it.
We have nothing to call home and tell mama about in the sad state of Ghana economy. Give us a break Mr.Mahama and your incompetent NDC.

It is unfortunate the student allowance was scrapped but this false reporting paper should know that the allowance in the 60s did not stay till today it was removed decades before the PNDC government introduced student allowance in 1986/87 academic year,we don't know about that 1960 allowance,I attended training college too but left without taking any allowance since it was not there at the time I was there.
Let us stop misleading Ghanaians,the teacher trainee allowance we know was introduced by Rawlings not Nkrimah,we don't know about Nkrumah allowance,stop crediting every good thing in Ghana to Nkrumah.

I did not enjoy student allowance but knowing what students go through in school I always think the allowance was one of the good things we got from the PNDC government and I wonder how a democratic government as we call it can scrap a good thing by a military government that exists for decades.
Whoever advised the government which I believe was the Finance minister and his colleagues should be ashamed of themselves,I don't care which excuse they give to justify it,it is garbage.

As ignorant and arrogant they are they don't even apologize for publishing wrong information.

I have given them the exact time the allowance started not what they know before,they can go to the Ghana Education Service to find out if that organization has the record.

Why in Ghana we always want to follow others blindly but don't think of developing our country like theirs,why we don't think we need to have good roads like the Americans and others but think of following things that will make life hard for our people?
Don't tell me you need that money to build roads,the west still pay unemployment allowance to people who lost their job,can we do that too.
