  Our governments do not set priorities right. How can we not take care of these children but waste money on Chieftaincy institution, buying cars for them. If these kids are not corrected, there is no way they can come back to society reformed. It is sad that even those in the mainstream educational system have been neglected.
  I watched Ama Boateng of Al Jazeera interview some headteachers in the Volta Region and it was sad that some school s still do not have books, writing materials and students are fed on 50 pesewas a day in our school feeding program. All we know is political functions where we waste money. Let the churches and the mosques also help because the government is not doing it. After all, they do not pay taxes and are NGO too.

  they say they are non profit organizations, but they make money more than any org. they asking for support to enrich themselves living these children with nothing.

  If the government of Ghana cannot adequately provide for these children who has been plugged from their families without consent then these children should go to court to prove that their punishment is cruel and since the government is NOT meeting its basic obligations and thereby must set them free from said institutions. The laws are there, in a Democratic system/ society, the courts must be made to enforce the laws as a final act. Use the courts and the system we have in place to get things right for these juveniles boys and girls.
