If there were more investigative journalists in Ghana exposing the daily indiscipline, corruption and lawlessness within every fabric of the Ghanaian society, some of these social evils and criminal activities will go down considerably.

Sadly, Anas, not much is done by way of corrective actions by the authorities that be because often they benefit from the such indiscipline, corruption and lawlessness. Indeed, they are part of the problem but not the solution and that is why that fake abortion doctor is back at work. He has been able to grease the palms of the very people who are expected to protect the victims.

We appreciate your great endeavours even at the risk of you life and also sympathise with you on your frustrations for lack of action and even complicity by the authorities. But never give up the yeoman's work. You are a gem in the midst of indiscipline, corruption and lawlessness. May the Almighty bless you abundantly and shower you with wisdom, endurance, perseverance, good health and long life to fight for the voiceless and the powerless at the margins of society. Keep it up because the masses are with you.

What has triggered the riots and arson in America these last few days is not very different from what is happening in Ghana and other parts of Africa. The only difference may be that in that case it is white folks that are doing it to black folks!

Again, thanks to Anas for exposing another aspect of the weakness in the Ghana health delivery system!

Relatedly, no clear thinking Ghanaian should believe for a second that Ghana is ready for an Ebola out-break as the health authorities continue to claim.

Even the 37 Military Hospital could not handle 2 cases of false positives that resulted in the deaths because there was no protocol and nurses and doctors were too scared to assist patients who did no have Ebola in the first place.

Let's prepare with due diligence and test the various systems throughout Ghana. It is not as if Ghana, even at this stage, has not incurred any Ebola related costs.

Doctors and nurses at Government hospitals take money before attending to patients. Nurses neglect, verbally and physically abuse patients. Avoidable deaths occur on a daily bases and no one cares. Doctors, nurses and other health care workers disappear from their posts and get away with it. No one is held accountable for anything. No one cares a hoot!

The Government through the Ministry of Health is resourcing the Health Facility Regulatory Authority to handle the issues of unapproved Health facilities including Private clinics, public facilities, Maternity Homes, Pharmacy and Chemical Shops.
I will inform the appropriate authorities about the issue of the Mádina Clinic so that justice can be done ( all of which though do not fall under the GHS, is of interest to us. We will pursue the issue).
For the WFP in the North, the District Assemblies through the Regional Ministers are being engaged to take ownership, secure Ware Houses and together with the Health Workers maintain detailed documentation and accountabilty. The Auditors will be sent to follow up on this issue. Thank you Director General, GHS.

Our sisters were being subjected to something we would not entertain.imagine if they were all being infected with a deadly disease and they inturn infect others. I don't think we need overwhelming evidence when it comes to such things. A single evidence is enough to arrest anyone who debates another especially when health is the subject here. Thanks.

Gabriel Ayisi was arrested by 2 police officers SETH and Amofah at the police HQ in Accra and paid is way out to flee the country.Time and hour will catch him up believe me to be in Jesus Name.

Patriotic Anas please walk through private facilities in Ghana and even so called public facilities now and make a head count of the number of people in uniform as "Nurses" yet have no formal training and health centers managed by 2-years trained Enrolled nurses whilst NMC licenced 4-years trained GRADUATE NURSES sit home jobless. GHS ueing cheap labour tactics do not employ graduate nurses and has left hunderds of competent high grade nurses stranded, many leaving the country to serve abroad; yet they were trained with taxpayers money.
Interestingly they will not ensure that these private facilities employ qualified staff for the issuance and renewal of their accreditation. It may shock you that most Ghanaians who attend private facilities are attended to by SHS graduates and dropouts. No wonder the public has a poor perception of Nurses because most of the people they accuse are not Nurses, they are quarks; and those that trained are usually trained below the tasks they perform.
How can Ghana be training certificate nurses while all around the world even diploma nurses are fading out. What a shame. The TRUST HOSPITAL is that renowned not only because of their specialist doctors but also the quality and well educated Nurses they employ.
EMPLOY GRADUATE NURSES NOW FOR A TURNAROUND IN HEALTH SERVICES.
