O Lord I pray for Mother Ghana, that you reduce the number of FOOLISH VOTERS in 2016. Father the small number that will be left, wash their faces with sea sand so that they would be able to see the predicament they have put Ghana in through their foolish action, and change for the better. I pray that you let them vote this USELESS and CLUELESS GOVERNMENT out. Let those who these FOOLISH VOTERS envy because they are prospering as a result of which they vote foolishly so that they will be equal with them prosper even more. Father let those who are sympathetic to these USELESS VOTERS stop giving them money when they come begging, so that they will realize 'Ghana is hard', and vote wisely this time round. Lord, there are too many office to office beggars in Ghana, that is a sign of poverty, kick those who encourage this out of office. Merciful Father, too many FOOLISH VOTERS who have no sense of dignity are rewarded with trips to soccer matches only to go and sleep on the floor in foreign land, and eventually seek asylum, stamp that disgraceful spirit out of Ghana. Strong partisanship started in Ghana when Kwame Nkrumah divided the nation into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice one party state and communism and indulge in Leftist anti-Western propaganda using the small country's meager resources to challenge centuries' old, well-established Western countries. They even accepted that he should act as a savior of the Blackman around the world, while tyrannizing his own Black people at home because they have alternative views for development of their country.

Those who wanted him to concentrate more on basic needs of the young nation and tone down his rhetoric against the powerful were called traitors, reactionaries, and agents of imperialism that should be liquidated and imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed Nkrumah and paid for his ticket from the UK to come and work as General Secretary of the group, saving him from the tyranny of unemployment in London. The independence struggle vanguards were senior civil servants in the Gold Coast. And as their struggle was gaining momentum and scope of the activities widening, they needed someone to work full time for the group; free from official work constrains to further spread message of the struggle.

Under their responsibility and protection, Nkrumah used the platform to become public face of the group and his popularity soared. This was because, many people in those days perceived him as the person or the only person that was fighting for our independence. Subsequently, when he heard from the Governor General's female secretary, who was later sacked, that the British had been preparing to grant us independence, he increasingly used needless militant tactics to provoke the Whiteman, when it was clear that the wind of change was blowing, and also embarrass his employers in order to outsmart them. He then used the opportunity to break away from them, forming his own party and slapping them from behind to take power.

This might explain the strong partisanship in the country and why Nkrumah didn't want the Liberation Vanguards to ever come to power in his life time. Maybe, he was afraid of his own ghost. Despite the facts, his supporters still want us to believe that he initiated, spearheaded and single handedly fought for our independence, and therefore name every national project after him as if we were in a kingdom.

They have to change that primitive way of that pull him down attitude (PHD) where one is killed with juju when he's seen progressing. I lived in an Ewe landlord's house in Taifa and any time his folks wants to visit, he moves to a two rooms, not so good rented apartment. when i inquired, he told me in plain language his people will kill him to know he has a storey building in Accra. He said a lot to me about the use of juju to destroy neighbors. How then can such a person bring development to his folks? Apart from Accra, Takoradi and Tema no region can boast of massive government infrastructures. certainly not Sunyani, Kumasi, Cape Coast, Koforidua etc. Am fante but i very much doff my hat off for Ashanti. Their fore-fathers had vision and so built massive houses and mansions especially in Kumasi for their families and that has added up to the beauty of that city. The beauty of Kumasi, Sunyani and Koforidua are as a result of individual efforts, why cant Volta do same by eliminating covetousness and juju?

Two students decide to go Fishing for Tilapia the weekend, and are having such a good time they decide to blow off the (calculus, I believe) exam that they have scheduled for Monday morning in order to get some final runs in before they head back to school. They decide
to tell the prof that they got a flat tire and therefore deserve to take the exam at a rescheduled time.
Hearing the story, said professor agrees that it really was just bad luck, and of course they can take the exam later. At the appointed time, the prof greets them and places them in two separate rooms to take the exam.

The few questions on the first page are worth a minor 10% of the overall grade, and are quite easy. Each student grows progressively confident as they take the test, sure that they have gotten away with fooling the professor. However, when they turn to the second page they discover that they really haven't.

The only question on the page, worth 90% of the exam, reads: "Which tire?"

Many look down on them as interlopers and called them"Gbagi to woo"meaning bush person"
Imagine living in the major cities of Accra,Kumasi and Takoradi and when you return to your ancestral village and you will be called a bush person?
Many ewes prefer to build homes in different parts of Ghana than their hometown because of family feud.
Takoradi had wealthy Ewes like Albert Ajagu Pomenya Dzokoto,Adadevoh,
Amenuvor,Abba,Mensah,Tamakloe,Foley who were business men and robbed shoulders with the Papafio,Gyadu,Amoonor,Okoreyes but after their death,their children could not continue with their business.
Nobody will develop your home without you making any effort to do it.
Individualism is what has kept the Volta Region underdeveloped.
The Volta Region have Scientist,lawyers,Doctors,Engineers,
Nurses,Accountants to organize and develop the land but where are they?

Concerning the roads, maybe Selorm Brantie would want to ask the Volta Chiefs who follow Alfred Agbesi Woyome to Court, to ask Woyome to return the looted money via create, loot and share to John Mahama, so he can use it for the 110km road, so he wouldn't have to burst 4 tires in the space of 24hours.
If the over 94million Euros from CP is also returned together with the Woyome $30million dollars, the whole of the Volta Region roads and a significant portion of the Eastern Corridor projects would be completed within 6months. So Selorm Brantie, has his job cut out for him. Meanwhile, we are also waiting for our bad roads, abandoned projects, opportunities in agriculture, tourism, etc, etc which are bursting at the seams to be given the needed attention.
