  Author:-Joe...NDC governments beginning with JJ has brought this nation to this situation. The lack of discipline and respect for the elderly and "skin pain" which motivated JJ to overthrow 2 governments started it all and continued in the era of Atta Mills' government and Mahama. Wen you bring in people who have never made anything in life and make them ministers and deputy ministers, how do you expect them to respect the elderly. When these boys in NDC government who have made ministers continue to sit on radio and TV to insult former President Kuffour and other members of the opposition, why wouldn't be indiscipline. Let JJ look no other than his own party with regards to indiscipline in the society.

  IT IS INSANE FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO SEE ECG COLLAPSE AND THEN THEY COME BACK AND SELL IT. GOVT MUST SERVICE ITS GHC1 BILION DEBT TO ECG.

  We would all recall the matter involving the loot of Merchant bank, where debts owed Merchant Bank were not paid by Ibrahim Mahama, and Tony Lithur wrote a letter to John Mahama to maintain the status quo ante when the Late Pres. Atta Mills asked John Mahama then the Vice President to look into the issue surrounding the processes initiated for the eventual loot of Merchant bank.
  The status quo ante was maintained and when customers of Merchant Bank, the board and workers as well as pensioners could say jack, Ibrahim Mahama was strutting the corridors of Merchant bank shouting to all who could hear that, "the real owners of the bank have come". Today, the hangman's noose is tightening around the neck of ECG ala Merchant Bank style and it is very, very dangerous.

  Ghana telecom before privatisation was just like the ECG. Useless and unproductive. ECG must be privatise at all cost to give Ghanians the energy we deserve. Privatise and sack all the ECG workers.

  Correct privatize ECG. Too much talking. Indecision are bigger failures that await us if we do not act. Just take caste of the humane aspect.

  I think by privatizing ecg will reduce the corruption in the system . A private company will not sit down for people to be dipping their hands into the money like how it is happening now.

  In U.S, all electricity companies are private, always we have power, even if light goes off, in a few minutes, it's back. Is only thieves who do not like privatisation, period!!!!!!!!.
