Look at all the schools in the area and you will see that they all have Ewe heads. This tells you a whole lot about the people from the Volta region. Understood that Victor Owusu said something they did not like over 30 years ago and they voted against him and that is fair, sort of Romney says something people didn't like in American (thankfully in the US it is not tribal but about issues) and so didn't vote for him, but then it is not held against the Republican party -- the Americans turned around and voted for Republican candidates so now they are a majority in Congress/Senate. My problem though is why brand a whole party with individual comments? Don't we lose out on good candidates this way?
JJ has insulted everybody and called folks all kinds of names but the rest of Ghana takes it up with JJ and not brand all the folks in the Volta region or for that matter NDC with JJ's insults. If Osafo or the crazy guy who said something about going after Ga's and Ewes, (is his name Ken or something), says dumb things one should take it up with the individuals and not their tribe or party. Well, Afedo is right, there is no need for other minority parties to waste their money in the Volta region because clearly they are one track minded and would even vote against their own welfare just because of things said by non Ewes who happen to belong to other parties. They would rather hire an incompetent headmaster/mistress who is from the Volta region than a competent one from outside the region, while other regions have Ewe heads and don't see things in that same lens.

Presently inter marriages are common among us and individuals in every family have the right to use his/her God gifted mind to decide good from bad than irresponsible leaders persuading them to do otherwise.
