Doctor Asamoah also confirmed what we have been saying all along that the Nkrumah was a communist even before coming to the Gold Cost, and planned to outfox the group from day one because communist don't share power. In fact, communists don't even believe in Democracy or the rule of law, which he enjoyed in the Gold Cost. So, from day one, he cunningly worked for himself and used the UGCC as a cover to achieve his aim deceitfully.

"Nkrumah went to England in 1945 and enrolled at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He undertook the study of law but failed the course, probably as a result of his many outside activities in student organizations. He helped set up the fifth
Pan-African Congress, held in Manchester in 1945, which endorsed a program of revolutionary rather than evolutionary African nationalism.

During his stay in the UK, he was sought out by leftists and Communists and learned much from them about organization and agitation•: He has, however, vigorously denied ever having been a member of •the Communist Party, although he attended meetings in London."

The sell-out of Nkrumah's legacy is still filling Ghanaian pockets up to this day. So vast were his projects.

Other regimes in Ghana have not been able to duplicate or even surpass achievements like his (e.g. Akosombo) since 50+ years.

Ideologies have blinded you.

His main mistake has been trying to cling to power, mainly through declaring life-time presidency.
He should have just given free elections, and after one term of failure by the opposition, he would have been voted in again.

This greed and selfishness is what have plunged most west African countries into Boko Haram like situation.
Remember it doesn't take much for such situation to raise it ugly head anywhere with such conditions.

It must be NOW though agreeing that Rome was not built in couple years. This was because the Romans started building Rome from the scratch; they had no architects,no town planners, no engineers etc. West Africa has all these so we build West Africa in a twincle of eyes. Let's go on, we will succeed by Grace of God.
