These crooked pastors and so called men of God have duped Ghanaians for too long. Lock the piece of trash and let us see what their useless fasting will bring about. The forced locking and arrest of a pastor on the orders from the former Ashanti Regional minister was irresponsible and uncouth. The behavior of the Regional minister is very typical of Ghanaian politicians, once in power or in a position of authority turn to see themselves as above the rule of law and give orders to law enforcement officials to arrest and detain people at the whims and caprices of the politician and they stupidly carry that out accordingly, without any question asked for a court signed arrest warrant first before carrying out the order.
I think, it is about time that civil libertarian groups and legal associations team up together and demand for proper training of our law enforcement personnel in the realm of how the Rule of Law works and especially, in the areas that relate to the functions of an arrest warrant in criminal justice.
