Well sometimes you cannot blame the engineers and Doctorate degree holders. Why? Because they are not funded. The army does not march on an empty stomach.

How can GWCL vow to tackle the stealing of water without seeking the assistance of the public? i was shocked this official could talk so much without mentioning the most essential thing: a phone number for people to report incidences of water stealing. Yes, this is the output of a big man enjoing a fat salary and benefits and driving a 4x4 car!
Incompetence is what is killing Ghana.

WE, WHO ARE IN DOME-ATOMIC AREA, HAVE NOT SEEN WATHER THOUROUGH OUR TAPS FOR OVER 2 YEAR. WHEN WE HAD THE NEW INCREASED FLOW, WE EXPECTED OUR TAPS TO FLOW. NO WAY! WE APPROACHED GWCL AND WERE TOLD TO GET A PLUMBER TO CONNECT NEW PIPES. WHY? THE PLUMBER SAID THEY WILL CHARGE GHC2000.00 (TWO THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS) PLUS LABOUR OF ABOUT GHC6OO.00 (SIX HUNDRED GHANA CEDIS). WE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY AND THAT WAS IT. GWCL HAS NEVER COME BACK TO SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED. AT LEAST THEY SHOULD HAVE SELECTED CONTRACTORS TO CONNECT THE WATER SO AS TO HAVE PROPER DRAWINGS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE LIKE ECG DOES. THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU CONNECT THE WATER OR NOT. MANY OF THEIR MANAGERS ARE CONNECTED TO TANKER DRIVERS SO THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO CONNECT. JUST TWO DAYS AGO WE BOUGHT 2500LITRES FOR GHC40.00. WHAT SORT OF MANAGERE DO WE HAVE. THE MINISTERS ARE ALSO IRRESPONSIBLE AS THEY SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT IF THE DEPARTMENTS UNDER THEM ARE WORKING.
