The problems in Accra took more than 50 years to build up to the current state and we cant expect them wiped off with a stroke of a pen. The whole nation is migrating to 2 main cities Accra and Kumasi, but infrastructure is not keeping with the population growth. Only fools wont see this!

Mr. Vanderpuije, the people of Accra are the only ones who can determine whether you deserve this award. So far they say you don't. Why don't you go back to the drawing board and ask yourself why they don't think you are deserving of the award, and try to do some work while you are at it, instead of telling us why you deserve the award. There is another word for that, it's "entitlement".

Even the award itself is sponsored and named after a man who is probably one of the most corrupt politicians in African history - the President of Angola. His name is Dos Santos and he simultaneously presides over vast oil revenues and horrific poverty. Not quite surprisingly, his daughter is one of the richest people in the whole of Africa.

Anyway, so it falls in line for Oko Vanderpuiye to win this award. Honesty and fairness is not a virtue of the sponsor of the award.

As for Oko Vanderpuiye, lets just ignore him for he has no scruples and no sense of shame. He is just simply the typical NDC prototype.
