The students, who blamed the incident on the decaying condition of the building and staged a protest in demand for its immediate renovation, have been forcibly evacuated from the campus. This is the second time in less than two years that a student has crashed from a height at the school. Early in 2014, a student fell to his death from the same building during a mad dash that followed a midnight scream of fire outbreak. In the latest incident, another fire reportedly erupted at dormitory around midnight on Friday.

Kudos to the students,how can the structure be there for 30years without any maintenance. It's high time we take education serious. There are several school facing same problems. Something must be urgently.

Most Ghanaians have problem with the culture of maintenance. We wait until people start dying before we act. This is not unique to any particular government. The Bawku Bolgatanga road is in deplorable state for some time now but nothing has been done about it. kofour promised to work on it but failed. Prof. Mills said he will work on it but failed and now John Mahama said he will do it. We are waiting to see.
The PTA need to wake up and help the students in their struggle for the dormitory to be renovated.
