  Both Rawlings and Kufour are very corrupt. In a civilized country both men would be serving long sentences in jail. But in Ghana we have "fama Nyame" syndrome. For nearly 20 years, Rawlings plundered the resources of the country, ruled with iron fist, sent journalists to prison without trial, extra judicial killings of prominent business men and intellectuals, murdered three high court judges, appointed his cronies to manage state enterprises, bribed chiefs, sold state enterprises to cronies, engaged in electoral fraud, and used foul and violent language to intimidate political opponents. Kufour's presidency was a failure. He enaged in massive corruption, allowed armed robbers to attack with impunity, failed to deliver on "zero tolerance" on corruption, reluctant to investigate Rawlings because Kufour himself wanted to loot, allowed the judiciary, the civil servants, and the police to became more corrupt and bribable, made university education increasingly inaccessible to working class families, allowed unhygienic environment to thrive. Kufour is a piece of shit.

  He wrote this article? The language is not in keeping with an article to celebrate Salah. Why always add an extra "s" - like in "formers Presidents", " can attracts".
