May God bless them, good example, but the problem is , now they have to think about electricity that will operate it. Because with so called DOMSOR, people will stuck in whenever power goes out.

Let the police walk up & down the stairs. It'll be good for their fitness. Zoomlion should focus on keeping our cities & town clean instead of seeking to buy off our police.

MTN building maternity wards and Zoomlion helping police stations with elevators and when zoom lion and MTN commit crimes against the state, how could the police untie their hand to apprehend you?
PAY YOUR PART OF THE PROPER TAXES AND GOVT WILL RESOURCE THE POLICE THRU THE INTERIOR MINISTRY BUGDET.
Only in Africa that a state police compromise its principles to be a recipient of corporate responsible.

The old game that Europeans have been playing with Africa is to find a cleaver way of robbing the continent of $750 billion annually through under trading and tax flights and turned around and give us $50 billion in aids and bla bla about it for all to see and hear as the good people helping helpless Africans.
Now that game has been perfected and adopted by the corporate world doing business in Africa where corporate Africa came out with fancy phrase as Corporate Responsibility to fool us just as the financial aid had got us all praising EU for helping us.
These phrases like GLOBAL VILLAGE, CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS are not coined by Africans but by those who sat down and thought it over on how it's gonna benefit them and throw it on to us and as hungry as we always are without truly not really feeling hungry, took it and ran with it without thinking deeply about them to find out in whose interest the GLOBAL VILLAGE,CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS really work for?

DO FREE THINGS REALLY FREE, GROWN INTELLIGENT GHANAIANS?

Acceptance of this inappropriate gift by the police reminds me of the short comings of most poor people which includes me and the majority of Ghanaians.

A poor person will not hesitate to take possession of a car, new or used, as a gift. It is thereafter God’s gift of wisdom comes into play. If the poor cannot maintain the car or afford needed fuel and oil use would it worth keeping or selling the car to put the proceeds from the sale to needed use? There has not been a government building in Ghana that has ever met needed routine maintenance. Every government owned building at the Ministries Complex is in need of maintenance and some are unfit for human occupancy. If Ghana police cannot afford the tools needed to provide for good policing to the communities which they serve why would they take possession of an elevator that requires regular maintenance and annual inspections? Like they say in my neck of the woods, there is nothing for free in this world; you earn what you work for.

Oh snap I forgot that in Ghana life is but as cheap as a loaf of bread and any mishap that may cause a loss of human life or injury while using the elevator is par for the course or viewed as luck of the draw.
