Install rails/walls to protect vehicles uptop from falling over. Do away with this roundabout foolishness and resort to 4lane interesting streets with stop lights
Driving in Ghana is difficult because of lack of enforced rules. We need more stop signs, traffic lights and no roundabouts. Every street must have a name with speed limits posted, houses and businesses must have numbers visi ...

Most ghanians drive and speed with out thinking also, most drivers in Ghana lack common sense in terms of driven, some think the fact that it is indicated on the speedometer e.g. 220km/h means they can speed up to that, forgge ...

I am with you. Most Ghanaian drivers are plain stupid. Once asked a middle age driver why he was overtaking going uphill and the answer was, he wanted to "show" the other driver. No wonder our highways have turned into "maaya ...

Nana you are right on the mentality of most drivers on our roads. Reading the story, the driver lost control negotiating a bend. The question is "negotiating the bend at what speed?" I think its high time these recklessness w ...

Ignore this internet troll. Just google the meaning of 'troll' and you wouldn't have to read his comment when you see it. Just don't dignify his nonsense, period. And remember to watch out for others like him.
An accident can occur anywhre within the universe. But we need to be extra careful in certain places in order to avoid or minimise accident. Drinkdriving does not help at all.
Maybe the speed to negotiate the curve was too high !! Accidents do occur but that is my suspicion !
Of course an accident can occur anywhere. But for a car to topple over a flyover suggests poor quality design, construction and materials used. In London and of course any advanced countries it is not possible for this to hap ...

Yes, poor design and construction. This shouldn't have happened. A crash barrier along side of the flyover could have prevented this. Lack of road signs also make create hazardous driving conditions.
Over speeding is the main cause of about 90% of accidents in Ghana. They believe that going fast means you are a better driver.
you can speed thru curve either on ground or air, most likely you will die
Please all road users extra care when using the roads. Wish them well
Our attitude reflects on everything that goes on in Ghana. In serious terms, most Ghanaians behave worse than DOGS. Trotro and taxi drivers behave like they don't have brains at all. We need strict and efficient laws that mak ...

Drove on that portion before and was really afraid because the concrete barriers were to short to stop a car falling over. The same goes to portions of the ofankor road. The barriers are too short to do its work. Surprised ...

The article has two pictures (photos). Click them and you will see that there are solid Guard rails. It seems the driver was speeding, lost control hit the car, which then catapulted over the rail
Authorities should do something about the top so that nothing like this will happen again over there. This is very serious
just look at the height of guard rails in pic 2. lazy work. needs to be corrected all over the country. a standard height needs to be enforced on all hazard spots
Unecessory speeding I guess
