The Police must be seen not to take sides in this Kpone case. We should all note that we are in a democratic dispensation. Though the majority is not always right, the majority carry the vote. Kpone should be allowed to chose who should lead them. If the majority of the people don't want you, there is nothing you can do but to accept the will of the people. You can't be a town elder over people who don't accept your leadership.
If there will be peace in Kpone, the will of the people MUST prevail.

The Kpone youth are absolutely right because the town has virtually been run down. The town boasts with the largest constituency in Greater Accra but sadly the most undeveloped constituency in the country. It hosts the largest commercial and industrial outfits within the Tema business enclave. All the recent big power plants are located here in Kpone. Yet the town can't boast of any decent road network, no secondary school etc. It's like a ghost town in the afternoon. I honestly think leadership in the town has failed the people. Hon.Afotey Agbo who doubles as MP and Greater Accra regional minister must be shown the exit come November 21.He's a complete failure and must be replaced.

I frown on mob action but what option do they leave the agitated youth. The show of where power lies is too much a part of policing. Ignoring the law and ethics begets disorder and lawlessness. In many places the youth and the police are facing off, leaving all peace loving citizens at risk. We all attend the same schools, why does the power of the state make our classmates almost illeterate
