  Maybe so and one should begrudge them bettering their lives however they are causing a lot of problems for the existing urban dwellers! Problems such as squartting, environmental issues etc!

  No one migrates to worse place than where s/he comes from. What were the basis for the choice of those regions? I am also interested to understand rural-rural migration and its impact on both the local, regional and national ...

  No one migrates to worse place than where s/he comes from. What were the basis for the choice of those regions? I am also interested to understand rural-rural migration and its impact on both the local, regional and national economies. I wish further studies could be conducted to compare and contrast the supposedly rich regions like Ashanti, Greater Accra and Central. Probably the bigger picture could not be placed at this site but I would be interested also consider the conditions they lived to make savings to support those home and embark development projects. Politically these are the stronghold of the ruling NDC and its about time that they put programmes together to alleviate such regions or the regions must be thinking of shifting votes in future and the future is now.
