  He writes that "..the law frowns on the use of motorcycles for commercial use ..". For his information the law does not frown on the use of motorcycles for commercial use. The law is very specific on prohibiting motorcycles for commercial use. I havent seen that law but for the fact that the police have been randomly arresting 'okada' operators from time to time, proves this fact.
  
  He also writes that, ".. in recent times the popular ‘Okada’ trade has permeated the transportation system in the country." Much as the okada transport system has become very convenient for those amongst us who have very little value for their lives, it is by no means a popular service. The practice is widely 'frowned upon as a very notorious phenomenon in the scheme of affairs of our society. Even those who reluctantly patronize that service are quick to admit that it is not safe to use them.
  
  Then our friend writes that, "Another observation made is that the necessary authorities have failed to clamp down on the use of motorcycles for commercial purposes." Necessary authorities? I think he probably means to imply, the appropriate authorities.
  
  He again writes that, ".. the Accra Region recorded the highest number of motorcycle crashes..". It is not crashes that he wants to say. The proper word to use is accidents. If my memory serves me right, I would think that a crash implies a collision of sorts. However motorcycles are in truth involved in all manner of unfortunate incidents which have nothing to do with collisions.
  
  Finally, but certainly not the least, he writes that "Towing in line is Tema Region, which recorded 232 motorcycle accidents." He probably meant to say, "following in line ....".

What they are looking for is a chance to loot and share. Now we miss Busia's Alliance-compliance-order. Uncountable Nigerian criminals have found their hide out on Ghanaian soil so much that our country has become the DEN OFF CRIMINALS. All ministries whose duty it is to check these have kept quiet While those treacherous Nigerians are scrambling for Ghanaian streets. Sooner than later, Ghana will no more be for the Ghanaian but for criminals. Preisdent Mahama and his NDC just don't care whatever the result would be, they are just there for money from state coffers. PEOPLE! open your eyes at the next elections.

  Okada, the motorcycle for commercial purposes, originated from Nigeria and is still thriving. But it has been banned in major areas in Lagos, Abuja, Port Hacourt and other areas. So it does not make sense for the police to allow it in Ghana. Nigerian policemen deal ruthlessly with anyone who flouts the law. They use guns to confiscate motorbikes from riders who occasionally flout the law. What is wrong with Ghana police? Arrest the lawbreakers. Ghana can't be a lawless country under NDC.
